Hamburg, Wednesday 24th May 2023. Do IT Now is happy to announce the partnership with Women in HPC, to get involved for a year-long opportunity to impact the lives of women in HPC in a positive way. Through this collaboration, Do IT Now will contribute to increase the participation, contribution and success of women in this area.

Pere Puigdomènech, CEO of the company, stated: «We share the values of Women in HPC and we support this specific program to help to strengthen their presence inside the community. Do IT Now tries to reach the gender equality milestone in each hiring process, it is very important for us to recruit and keep talented women in our company, and we expect to improve the quota in the near future».    

On the other side, Paolo Cappuccio, CMO of Do IT Now, remarked: «We are deeply committed to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and we are glad to contribute from Do IT Now to create a positive impact on society, in particular to women working in the field of HPC».  

Do IT Now also joins the celebrations as career amplifier sponsor of the Diversity Day, organized by Women in HPC on Tuesday May 23rd at the ISC’23 conference in Hamburg, Germany.

Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC) was created with the vision to encourage women to participate in the HPC community by providing fellowship, education, and support to women and the organizations that employ them.

Through collaboration and networking, WHPC strives to bring together women in HPC and technical computing while encouraging women to engage in outreach activities and improve the visibility of inspirational role models. WHPC is stewarded by EPCC at the University of Edinburgh. WHPC operates under the WHPC Terms of Reference that covers WHPC’s operation, governance and membership.
