Barcelona, November 19th 2019 — Within the International Supercomputing Conference SC19 that is being held these days in Denver (CO, USA), today Tuesday, 19 November 2019, at 5 pm MST in booth #1373, the CTO of HPCNow!, Jordi Blasco, will deliver a partner view presentation based on the consolidated experience with BeeGFS in HPC and AI environments.

During the talk, Jordi will explain the motivations of customers for adopting this technology and also the key differential features that make BeeGFS ideal for HPC and AI environments. In addition, the cluster efficiency monitoring tools developed by HPCNow! will also be exposed. These tools have proved to be really helpful to HPC user support teams to identify new opportunities to improve the efficiency of codes and workflows running on HPC resources. A case study of those tools was introduced by David del Prado from  IHCantabria, the Environmental Hydraulics Institute of the University of Cantabria, during the HPC Knowledge Meeting’19 celebrated last June.

Finally, three case studies based on BeeGFS will be presented, including King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Alba Cells Synchrotron and Siemens-Gamesa.
